In a shocking event, a man suspected of homicide is being charged with the murder of another individual at a bus stop, where he is also alleged to have consumed parts of the victim’s face, as per a New York Post report. The incident occurred early Sunday morning in Las Vegas’ art district, where two men engaged in a fight. A witness later alerted the police, claiming to have seen one man biting the other’s face at the bus stop.
Upon their arrival, authorities discovered a 29-year-old man, Colin Czech, by the victim, with evidence of the assault on his person. Czech claimed self-defense, stating that the victim had initiated the attack.
The injured man, referred to as Kenneth, was rushed to the hospital with severe facial injuries, including the loss of an eye and ear, and was subsequently declared dead.
Czech, who was apprehended and charged with murder, alleged that he was homeless, had not slept for several days due to being ‘possessed,’ and that Kenneth had assaulted him first. He confessed to using his teeth as a weapon during the altercation.
Czech missed his first court appearance but was present for his arraignment later in the week. His public defender expressed concerns about his mental competency, leading to a pause in the proceedings as he receives medical attention, according to local news.
