Rakul Preet Singh’s brother caught in Hyderabad Cocaine seizure case

Aman Preet Singh, the brother of well-known Bollywood actress Rakul Preet Singh, was unexpectedly taken into custody by the Hyderabad Police concerning a significant Cocaine Seizure Case. The Telangana Anti-Narcotics Bureau, the Rajendranagar Police, and the Cyberabad Police’s Special Operations Team (SOT) cooperated in the arrest.

When the Telangana Anti-Narcotics Department learned about a sizable cargo of cocaine being transported to Hyderabad for sale, the investigation got underway. The investigators found an incredible 2.6 kg of the illegal substance during a well-planned operation.

5 individuals were detained by the police during the operation who were reportedly part of the drug-peddling network: Mohd Mahaboob Shareef, Onuoha Blessing, Azeez Nohaam Adeshola, Allam Satya Venkata Gowtham, and Sanaboina Varun Kumar.

But when the authorities discovered that 13 people, including Aman Preet Singh, had tested positive for cocaine use, the investigation took an unexpected turn. One of the 6 clients, the police detained was Aman, the 30-year-old brother of actress Rakul Preet Singh. 4 additional people were also taken into custody: Aniketh Reddy, Prasad, Madhusudhan, and Nikhil Daman.

Detention of Suspects in Cocaine Seizure Case

According to the most recent information, Aman Preet Singh and the other suspects will appear in court following a medical assessment, as confirmed by the Hyderabad Police. In addition, the authorities have put out lookout notices with a ₹2 lakh reward each for information leading to the two suspected drug trafficking masterminds, Divine Ebuka Suzee and Ezeonyili Franklin Uchenna.

According to the inquiry, Nigerian nationals ran the narcotics network, and Onuoha Blessing, the accused woman, made over 20 trips to Hyderabad to distribute cocaine to the local suppliers. During the raid, the police also found 2 passports, 2 bikes, 10 cell phones, and 199 grams of cocaine.

The Preet Singh family has been involved in drug-related controversies on previous occasions. Rakul Preet Singh was herself called in by the Enforcement Directorate in 2022 and 2021 over a different case involving drug trafficking and consumption.

The Telangana Prohibition and Excise Department busted a high-end drug ring that was distributing LSD, MDMA, and other drugs in 2017, which prompted the ED’s investigation. In addition to Rakul, several well-known figures from the Telugu cinema industry were questioned about the issue, including Puri Jagannadh, Navdeep, Rana Daggubati, Charmme Kaur, and Ravi Teja.
