Bengaluru Police have arrested a man who allegedly hit a scooter carrying a couple and their child and drove away without stopping. The incident took place last month near MS Ramaiah Hospital.
The family of three was travelling on a scooter when 23-year-old Sukruth, driving a car, reportedly rammed into them at high speed.
The impact threw the scooter over the road divider, leaving all three injured.

The woman suffered injuries to her hand, head, and shoulder, while the man received rib injuries. Bystanders quickly took the family to the hospital for treatment.
Police analysed CCTV footage from the location and identified the car involved in the crash. Officers later arrested Sukruth and booked him under sections related to rash driving, causing injuries, and fleeing the spot.
According to police, the crash happened after Sukruth allegedly became angry when the scooter rider honked at him at a traffic signal earlier.
