Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL), India's largest hospitality firm, announced that its flagship brand, Taj, has been named the World's Strongest Hotel Brand in the 'Hotels 50 2024' report by Brand Finance, the leading brand valuation consultancy. The report highlighted Taj's remarkable 45% increase in brand value, bringing it to $545 million, and awarded it an AAA+ rating, the highest possible brand strength score.
The 'Hotels 50 2024' annual report, which evaluates the most valuable and strongest hotel brands worldwide, recognized Taj's superior performance. Taj not only reclaimed its position as the world's strongest hotel brand but also emerged as the second-fastest-growing brand globally.
Taj's improved Brand Strength Index (BSI) score of 92.9 out of 100 reflects its excellence across various brand strength metrics, including familiarity, consideration, recommendation, and reputation. This exceptional performance earned Taj the prestigious AAA+ rating.
Puneet Chhatwal, Managing Director and CEO of IHCL expressed his delight at Taj's achievement, stating, "We are thrilled for Taj to be honoured as the World's Strongest Hotel Brand again in its milestone 120th year.
