He then availed himself of a free hernia check-up camp to get further evaluation. Present at the camp Dr Narendra Dev, Professor at BRD Medical College Garnani said that the ultrasound conducted on the man positively suggested he had hernia. Mistri was operated by Dr Dev, and it was identified that the piece of flesh that was extricated from the abdominal membrane and extended to the canal was an immature uterus and close to it was an ovary.

Speaking on the matter, Dr. Dev reiterated that, in his own analysis, Mistri does not possess any female traits; even the presence of female reproductive system is a birth abnormality. After the surgery has been done, the patient is rather healthy and the recovery process is going on successfully.
