A government school teacher in Rajasthan's Kotada district has been suspended after it was found that he allegedly pressured a class 9 student to quit his exam midway. The teacher, Mohanlal Doda, reportedly asked the student to cut, skin, and clean a chicken during the exam, a task unrelated to the student's education.
The incident sparked anger among local residents. The community reached out to Minister Babulal Kharari, who immediately took action and instructed Sub-Divisional Officer (SDO) Hasmukh Kumar to investigate the situation. The inquiry showed further troubling information.
During the investigation, other students from the school came forward with additional claims. They said that about a month ago, Doda had dismissed the school cook from duty. As a result, the students had not received food at the school since then, leaving many frustrated and upset.
The official inquiry, led by SDO Kumar, found that Doda had, indeed, ordered the student, Rahul Kumar Pargi, to clean the chicken during the exam. This act was deemed completely inappropriate and unrelated to the student’s academic responsibilities.
Based on the findings of the inquiry, the district education officer took swift action and suspended Doda from his teaching position. Authorities are continuing their investigation into the matter, ensuring that appropriate actions are taken.
