A photo of him with a board reading “We accept cryptocurrency” is going viral on the internet. This highlights how Bengaluru adds cryptocurrency to its evolving digital landscape, proving that cryptocurrency has successfully arrived in the Indian market.
The viral photo was shared on X by Garima Sharma, who captioned it as “Bro is transforming faster than most literate Indians.” The post featured an auto driver with a note above him reading, “We accept cryptocurrency”.
The post shared on 18 August has gained almost 70,000 views and more than a thousand likes. The X users have reposted it around a hundred times.

A person wrote, “He must be attending those web3 hackathons in parallel, I bet,” whereas the other believes “He simply understood the future.” “Wonder if he still accepts crypto. If yes, he is one of a gem. Many have stopped taking crypto after 2022. I used to pay for food in crypto at a few places in Bengaluru,” a user wrote.
While some users appreciated him, some linked him with the betting apps asking “Is he an employee of WazirX?”
