In anticipation of a large congregation of devotees for the upcoming Ram Navami festival, the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, which manages the newly constructed Ram Temple in Ayodhya, has announced the cancellation of VIP darshan facilities for a three-day period.

This decision comes as the temple prepares to welcome a significant influx of devotees for the first Ram Navami since the temple's consecration ceremony. To ensure a smooth and equitable darshan experience for all visitors, the trust will be implementing the following measures:

Cancellation of VIP Darshan: From April 15th to 18th, 2024, all special darshan arrangements, including those designated for VIPs and VVIPs, will be suspended. All devotees will be required to follow the standard darshan queue.

Extended Darshan Timings: To accommodate the anticipated crowd, the temple darshan timings will be extended until 11:00 pm during the aforementioned three days.

Request to Dignitaries: The trust has respectfully requested distinguished guests and dignitaries to schedule their visits after April 19th, 2024, when the special arrangements for Ram Navami conclude.

The temple trust is taking further steps to ensure a seamless and respectful experience for all devotees during Ram Navami:

Early Queue Formation: On the day of Ram Navami itself (April 17th, 2024), devotees will be permitted to begin queuing for darshan as early as 3:30 am.

Live Broadcast: For those unable to visit the temple in person, the Ram Janmotsav (celebration of Lord Rama's birth) will be broadcasted live on approximately 100 large LED screens.

Mobile Phone Restriction: To minimize inconvenience and expedite the darshan process, visitors are encouraged to refrain from bringing mobile phones into the temple premises.

Railway Reservation Assistance: A temporary railway reservation unit will be established at the passenger convenience center to assist devotees with their travel needs.

These measures reflect the trust's commitment to ensuring a smooth and inclusive celebration of Ram Navami for all devotees, regardless of background or social status.
