Hezbollah chief's corpse retrieved from strike zone: Report
Nasrallah was killed on Friday after months of planning and attack by the Israel Defence Forces (IDF).
As Hezbollah confirmed the death of its chief, Hassan Nasrallah, in an Israeli airstrike, his body was discovered from the strike zone in Beirut’s southern suburbs on Sunday. Reuters reported, citing some closely related sources working on the incident.
The two sources told the news agency that Nasrallah’s body had no direct wounds, and the cause of the death is speculated to be blunt trauma from the force of the blast. The Lebanon-based militant group released a statement confirming the death of their former chief on Saturday. Hezbollah didn’t disclose the cause of the death, and no updates were shared regarding the funeral.

Netanyahu’s remarks
The Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu openly supported the attack, underlining we had “settled the account” with a “mass murderer.” “We settled the score with the one responsible for the murder of countless Israelis and many citizens of other countries, including hundreds of Americans and dozens of French,” Netanyahu said.
Reportedly, Netanyahu instructed the force to neutralise Nasrallah, as mercy to his life would have created multiple threats for Israel.
