In a significant change, the BJP has replaced Kirron Kher with Sanjay Tandon for the Chandigarh seat. In West Bengal’s Asansol, former Union Minister SS Ahluwalia will run instead of Bhojpuri singer Pawan Singh, who previously withdrew his nomination.

Neeraj Shekhar, the son of ex-Prime Minister Chandrashekhar, has been nominated for the Balia constituency. Meanwhile, Jaiveer Singh has been chosen to compete against Dimple Yadav in the Mainpuri district of Uttar Pradesh.

Pawan Singh who had withdrawn his candidacy from Asansol still plans to run for election. He took to the social media platform X to announce his plans, soliciting public support without specifying which constituency or party he would represent.
